Endless Horizon RP Rules
Welcome to Endless Horizon RP. Please ensure you read these rules thoroughly before entering the server. It is essential that these rules are followed; breaching any of the server rules stated will result in one or more of the following punishments: Being removed, a formal warning, a temporary ban, or even being blacklisted. We reserve the right to issue punishments and remove anyone from the server or Discord community if we feel these are not taken seriously.
In order to report a player for a rule break, you must open a ticket within the main Discord no later than 12 hours after the incident happened, ensuring clips or evidence are attached; we may be unable to take any action without any evidence provided. When creating a report, please ensure the clips/evidence include the player’s ID (Hold U key) who has broken the rules, and any clip provided is at least 30-60 seconds long with audio.
Any action given by staff is final; this can be appealed within Discord, but the decision may not change. Always treat the staff with respect. Please remember that what they do is voluntary. Anyone seen discussing punishments in general chats or in staff personal messages will result in a timeout or possible ban.
Staff have final discretion on all punishments. Violations of these rules will result in warnings, temporary bans, or permanent bans, depending on severity. Repeated offences or severe violations will result in harsher consequences. We expect mature, realistic, and immersive roleplay from all members. If you cannot commit to quality roleplay or the rules provided, Endless Horizon RP may not be the server for you.
SERVER RULES
𝗡𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗲 𝗮𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝘀𝗸 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽
We’re here to help ease you into the world of Endless Horizon RP; however, please try to keep NON-RP matters outside of others' immersion.
𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗴𝗲
All players are required to be able to speak English.
𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀
A working microphone is mandatory in Endless Horizon RP.
𝗡𝗼 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴
Do not use information obtained out-of-character (OOC) for in-character (IC) advantages. Keep OOC and IC knowledge separate. Using out-of-character information to influence the course of roleplay is punishable by a ban. This includes, but is not limited to: Twitch Streams and Steam messages.
𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗜𝗗'𝘀
You are not allowed to identify players in-game solely via session ID. Police or NHS ranks and collar numbers are fine, as they “wear the clothing with the rank on“.
𝗡𝗼 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴
Do not force actions or outcomes on other players without their consent. Avoid using unrealistic or unfair tactics to gain an advantage.
𝗡𝗼 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗺 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 (𝗥𝗗𝗠)
Do not attack or kill other players without a valid in-character reason. All violent interactions must be justified and role-played appropriately. For example, giving enough time for someone to comply with your order, “Put your hands up or you'll be harmed”.
𝗡𝗼 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗺 𝗩𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 (𝗥𝗩𝗗𝗠)
Do not use vehicles to randomly run over or kill players. Vehicle-related actions must be justified and role-played. For example; Using your vehicle as a weapon (Running players over, causing explosions, ramming player vehicles) without a valid roleplay reason is considered RVDM.
𝗡𝗼 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴
Do not use cheats, exploits, or third-party software to gain an unfair advantage. Report any bugs or exploits to Endless Horizon staff.
𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆!
There is a zero-tolerance policy for racism, homophobia/transphobia, and sexual harassment or assault. These actions will not be tolerated IC or OOC and will result in severe punishment.
Not allowed!
Terrorist Roleplay, Erotic Roleplay, and Suicide Roleplay are not allowed within the server. Carrying out this sort of roleplay will result in a permanent ban and/or possible blacklist.
𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲-𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀
Remain in character at all times whilst in Endless Horizon RP. Avoid breaking character, for example, discussing real life or out-of-character information) unless absolutely necessary.
𝗙𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆 (𝗙𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗥𝗣)
Show realistic fear for your character’s life in dangerous situations. Do not act recklessly when your character’s life is clearly at risk. For example, if you are outnumbered or at an obvious disadvantage, you should comply with demands.
𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗥𝘂𝗹𝗲 (𝗡𝗟𝗥)
If your character dies, you must forget the events leading up to your death. Do not seek revenge or return to the location of your death for at least 15 minutes. Any feud your character had with their killer(s) is ended.
𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗮𝘁 𝗟𝗼𝗴𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴
When in an active scene, disconnecting to avoid punishment is against the rules. Accidental crashes should be communicated via Discord if unable to log back in. This includes: F8 quit. Minimum Punishment: 1-day ban. If staff notice this is being done on a number of occasions by the same player, a permanent ban will be given.
𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀
Hostages must be genuine and not be willing participants with the hostage takers. Both parties will be found at fault if the hostages are not genuine.
𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲 𝘇𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴
Fleeing into a safe/green zone to hide from another party whilst in an active hostile situation, is not allowed. Persistent behaviour will result in punishments.
𝗦𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗧𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗰𝘀
Due to the sensitive nature of suicide, you are not permitted to roleplay self-harm or suicide. This will result in a ban from Endless Horizon RP.
𝗔𝗱𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗣
Roleplay using bodily fluids inappropriately (pee, spit, faecal matter, etc) is not allowed. This includes use of emotes, /me, or scenes.
𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗜𝗗
Voice ID/Character ID is prohibited. You should not be identifying someone who is wearing a mask or over the radio by how they sound.
𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝘂𝗹𝗲𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆/𝗪𝗲𝗮𝗽𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆
Roleplay over Ruleplay/Weapon Play is important when it comes to roleplaying within the server. If you are involved in a scene with rule breaks, you must carry out the scene, then report the player afterwards. You should never break character during a roleplay scene or state that you are putting them into a ticket. When it comes to roleplay over weapon play, you must always have a valid reason for pulling a weapon; you should not be pulling out weapons instantly; this also goes for Police Officers instantly pulling out their taser/baton/gun.
𝗪 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆
A win-hungry mentality is frowned upon within the server. Roleplay should be enjoyable for all players.
𝗚𝗧𝗔 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴
GTA Driving is any driving which is considered unrealistic. Driving off-road in a non-off-road vehicle is prohibited, but you may drive on dirt paths and on train tracks at suitable speeds. You do not have to roleplay your crashes, but you must take into consideration any injuries you may incur from a crash and roleplay these out. If you come out of your windscreen, you must not get back in the vehicle, and you must roleplay your injuries. GTA jumps are allowed, as long as they are realistic. You must try to land on all 4 wheels, but if you do roll/flip, you can only take 2 rolls/flips before you must stop the vehicle.
𝟮𝟯. 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗭𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀
EHS is a green zone.
𝟮𝟰. 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘆
Bribing of any Whitelisted businesses is forbidden in Endless Horizon RP. No gangs, criminals or civs to bribe any Whitelisted businesses. Those who go against this, will result in punishments.
Streamers
𝗩𝗜𝗘𝗪𝗘𝗥𝗦
You can't use anything you observe on the stream to benefit your character. You can't make clips or videos that will be used in character. You can't provide the streamer with knowledge their character does not know through use of the streamer's chat.
𝗔𝗦 𝗔 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗠𝗘𝗥
You can't request in-character information from your chat to develop in-character actions. You must follow server rules and regulations.
EMERGENCY SERVICES RULES
Cop Baiting is when you are trying to purposefully get the attention of the police. This includes but is not limited to: running red lights purposefully in front of the police, committing crimes in front of PD to get a reaction, involving yourself in a scene which does not involve you, and using the dispatch system to bait the police to your location.
Emergency hostage taking of PD officers is allowed, but there must be high quality roleplay reason behind doing this; you cannot get yourself pulled over with the intention to take a police officer. You cannot take on-duty EHS workers hostage at any time.
UHS vehicles cannot be taken under any circumstances. UPD vehicles can be taken if they're unlocked and the engine is on, but they must only be taken as a last resort and with a high-quality roleplay reason.
Impersonating Emergency services is prohibited. You cannot dress up as a police officer or medical worker; this includes wearing anything such as leg straps and weapon belts.
Stealing Emergency Equipment is allowed, but only certain items are allowed to be taken. These include handcuffs, flashlights, spike strips, radios, bandages, first aid kits, armour and body cameras, but ammo and guns are not allowed to be taken.
Corruption within Emergency services is prohibited unless authorised by senior staff. If you wish to take the path of corruption, you must open a ticket within the main Discord and give a valid roleplay storyline. Only when it is authorised will you be able to carry out the storyline. If you are seen to be carrying out corruption whilst in a whitelisted job, you will be blacklisted from the retrospective job.
Dispatch spamming is not allowed. You must not continuously make calls to get the attention of any emergency services.
Once someone has passed the PD gates, you are no longer able to retrieve them; you are able to intercept PD before this point.
Respect Emergency services! They are essential to the server. Baiting, trolling, or excessive targeting is prohibited.
Only call emergency services for legitimate roleplay situations. You must roleplay injuries realistically and comply with EHS treatment.
AIRCRAFT/BOAT RULES
When landing a helicopter in city, you can only land on designated helipads or runways.
When landing out of city (Grapeseed, Sandy Shores and Paleto), you can land anywhere other than a main road.
You cannot land at Prison under any circumstances. EHS/PD are exempt due to attending emergencies.
You cannot land on EHS/PD helipads. If you need to make an emergency landing and have no other option, you must get confirmation from EHS/PD first before doing so.
When flying over and through city, you must ensure you are always 400ft above the ground. Do not go lower than this altitude.
You cannot use a helicopter as a primary getaway vehicle, but it can be used as a decamp vehicle after a chase has been going on for 15 minutes.
You cannot use a helicopter to involve yourself or block in chases.
You cannot use a helicopter to break someone out of prison.
Don't ground a boat on land. Keep your boat on the water at all times.
Use common sense when driving a boat.
GANG RULES/INFORMATION
Use of real gang names is not permitted.
A gang can contain no more than 10 members, including associates/runners. Associates/runners can be involved in active gang wars/beef. Gang teaming is not allowed.
Only 3 vehicles can be involved in active chases involving PD, which includes the original vehicle involved.
Gang beef/wars can be initiated either face-to-face, via calls or social media.
If a gang is seen providing low-quality RP or persistently breaking rules, your gang will be disbanded and possibly banned from Gang RP.
You cannot steal the following items if you are blooded out of a gang: materials, drugs, weapons, money or any other items that belong to the gang. If a gang disbands, the items must be evenly shared between the remaining members.
If you are blooded out of a gang, you must forget all information about the gang, their locations and any MLOs owned by them.
Gangs cannot intercept another gang who have started a robbery at any time.
Killing other gang members should be a last resort, and be provided with good RP and backstory.
Gangs must wear their clothing/colour during any gang wars/conflicts.
PD can intervene in gang wars/conflicts, but they cannot end them.
Any gang members who have died during active gang wars/conflicts cannot return to that scene.
There is no charge to become a Whitelisted gang, however, gangs will be chosen to become a Whitelisted Gang. This position is to be earned through good RP.
